I'm Sheila Ann Smith
I have been writing songs since I was little. It is my first love in music. In fact, I wanted a career that I could use my songwriting skills and love for music as well as my love for God.
I studied music privately in lessons as well as in college and took seminars on music including songwriting, all the while improving my skills. It was a privilege to study music at the master’s level in university, to graduate with a Master in Music Degree and most of all to be inspired by many different music styles.
About 12 years ago I recorded my first album of original songs and since then have recorded several other albums. I gained the skills I needed to add to my passion and learned to create beautiful songs for worship settings, churches, weddings, coffee shops and conferences. I have taught songwriting in several different countries in seminars and live events and written 100’s of songs.
Now I want to help you write excellent songs. I want you to have the skills to inspire others by your songs as you have the tools to write beautiful melodies and meaningful lyrics. I’m excited about all that you will learn in this course. Let’s get started!
